Cycle for Smart Works 2024

For many women, getting a job is a lifeline. It is a chance to escape poverty, gain financial stability and restore confidence. In the shadow of the cost of living crisis, there is an intensified need for the Smart Works service.

Smart Works is a UK charity that dresses and coaches unemployed women for their job interview. They give women the confidence they need to reach their full potential, secure employment and transform their lives. In the last year, 63% got a job within a month of their appointment.

Between the 1st and 30th of September, I will be cycling 300 miles to raise vital funds for Smart Works. I will be pedalling for a purpose and would appreciate every pound you are able to give to support this brilliant charity.

Week 1 - thank you!

Monday 9th Sep

Week 1 and I have logged 65 miles which is a little behind my required run rate. I am going to Singapore in a week for work which will mean I need to log some miles on a stationary bike.

More importantly thanks to you my friends we have raised just over £3000. Thank you all I am incredibly grateful for your support. This is a charity that has a huge impact so feel good about your donation.
